This Terms of Service (“Terms”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and VeeGuard VPN Lite (“we,” “our,” or “the Service”). By installing, launching, or using VeeGuard VPN Lite, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be unconditionally bound by these Terms.
VeeGuard VPN Lite is an account-free, registration-free, and payment-free privacy tool. Because we do not identity-verify users, access is granted strictly based on your compliance with these Terms.
01 Automated “As-Is” Digital License
We grant you a restricted, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to utilize the VeeGuard VPN Lite software on your personal devices.
- No Uptime Warranties: As a lightweight, complimentary utility, this Service is provided “as-is.” We do not guarantee 100% server availability, specific throughput speeds, or geographical mapping accuracy.
- On-Demand Modifications: We reserve the right to add, modify, or rotate VPN server locations, protocols, and routing mechanisms at any time without notice to optimize the network fabric.
02 Zero-Trace Architecture & User Liability
- The Responsibility Trade-off: VeeGuard VPN Lite does not log, monitor, or record your online activities, destinations, or source IP addresses. While this safeguards your absolute privacy, it means you operate under your own full legal liability.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VeeGuard VPN Lite and its infrastructure providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your network traffic or behavior while connected to the Service.
03 Prohibited Network Behavior (Zero-Tolerance)
The underlying server network of VeeGuard VPN Lite is shared among all users. To prevent blacklisting and infrastructure degradation, you are strictly prohibited from using the VPN tunnel for:
- Infrastructure Abuse: Deploying automated scripts, bots, or scrapers that cause artificial traffic spikes, port scanning, or Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks against any third-party networks or our own servers.
- Malware Distribution: Hosting, transmitting, or propagating ransomware, spyware, worms, or any malicious payloads.
- Intellectual Property Theft: Engaging in illicit peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing or torrenting that violates international digital copyright laws and triggers DMCA/regulatory complaints.
- Cyber-Crime: Facilitating fraudulent operations, identity theft, credit card phishing, or accessing illicit networks.
04 Automatic Enforcement and Mitigation
Because we do not use accounts, we cannot ban “user accounts” manually. Instead, we employ automated, protocol-level network defenses to maintain system integrity:
- If a device triggers our automated firewalls (e.g., attempting massive spamming or brute-force attacks through a node), the system will automatically block that specific temporary session or device handshake at the packet level.
- We reserve the right to deploy automated filters to block known malicious ports (e.g., SMTP mail ports commonly used for spamming) across the entire VeeGuard VPN Lite network.
05 Radical Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VeeGuard VPN Lite, its developers, and its network upstream providers shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of business, connectivity failures, or interceptive actions taken by internet service providers (ISPs) or local network administrators, even if we were advised of such possibilities.
06 Severability and Complete Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that specific provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining sections of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
07 Revisions to the Terms
We reserve the right to alter these Terms at our discretion. Since there are no user profiles or contact registries within VeeGuard VPN Lite, it is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically via the app interface. Your continued deployment of the application following updates indicates active acceptance of the modified Terms.
